THE WINES, THE CASTLES, THE FOOD...
ABOUT THIS TRIP
We’ll explore Portugal’s rural heartland, cycling through medieval villages, castles, and lush landscapes. We’ll savor a mix of Michelin-starred dining and authentic local cuisine, best enjoyed at a slower pace.
Our journey begins in Évora, a historic town with the sinister Chapel of Bones. From here, we’ll ride along scenic bike lanes that once served as railways. The wineries we visit—ranging from a medieval building to a modern bunker—offer exceptional wines, blending tradition and innovation.
Luxury meets history as we visit castles, stay in one once home to royalty, and explore a horse farm where the Lusitano breed thrives. Our adventure culminates in Marvão, a hilltop town with panoramic views that inspired Nobel Prize-winning author José Saramago to declare, 'From Marvão, you can see the whole world.'
