ABOUT THIS TRIP
One of my favorite bike trips is this one along the southern coast of Portugal—starting in Costa Vicentina, often referred to as part of EUROVELO 1 or the Fishermen's Trail. With its rugged beauty and challenging terrain—sandy roads, some paths only suitable for hiking—it’s a route that requires a guide who knows how to navigate the best ways. That’s where I come in: let me lead you through these stunning landscapes, avoiding the tricky bits while still taking in the most beautiful spots.
From the dramatic Cabo de São Vicente to the stunning beaches of the Algarve, we’ll finish in Tavira, a historic Roman town, and you’ll be able to say you've cycled along some of the most breathtaking coastlines in the world.
To enhance the bike tour, we could add a kayak or boat tour to Benagil Cave and Oyster tasting in Tavira, so, let's start planning.
